Day 1 - Delhi - Agra ( 3 Hours)
7:00 AM: Departure for Agra
On the morning of your day 1 on the tour; our driver will reach you at your location and will take you to Agra city. The city is approximately 200kms from Delhi and will take around 3 hours to reach Agra.
10:00 AM: Check In Hotel, Agra
Upon your arrival in Agra, you'll check-in the hotel. You can enjoy the best dishes of Agra in your hotel, relax and bit and we'll soon leave for sightseeing in Agra.
1:00 PM: Agra Fort
The first destination on your Overnight Agra Tour from Delhi is the red coloured 'Agra Fort'; it was built by Mughal emperor Akbar and later finished by his grandson Shah Jahan. Akbar liked the red sandstone and the material was gathered from several parts of the country for the construction. It is a massive Fort and was then the home where the Mughal emperor resided when Agra remained the capital of the Mughals. It has large complexes and offers spectacular views of the historic Mughal architecture.
3:00 PM: Taj Mahal
Upon finishing the sightseeing of Agra fort, it is time to visit the best of the best; the Taj Mahal. Built by a powerful Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal; Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and among the seven wonders of the world. It is largely believed (though a rumour) that the emperor cut off the hands of the labour who built this amazing piece of art and remunerated them with gold coins for a lifetime so that those labour could not build any other thing such beautiful.
6:00 Back to hotel
The Taj Mahal looks best in the dusk and the dawn as the setting rays of the sun turns this ivory white monument into golden yellow and the views alongside the Yamuna is just breathtaking. As the sun lingers towards setting in; we'll drop you at your hotel for your nightstay. You can move out of the hotel and explore the vibrant streets of Agra and fall in love with the hospitality offered by the people. Overnight stay in the hotel
Day 2 - Agra - Delhi ( 4 Hours)
5:15 AM: Sunrise Taj Mahal sightseeing
The best part of this tour is that you get to experience the mesmerizing Taj Mahal on both sides of the day i.e. the dusk and the dawn. Our driver will reach your hotel to pick you up pre-dawn and will take you to Taj Mahal towards experiencing probably the most magical monuments of your life. The Taj Mahal views in the dawn are just jaw-dropping and will fill you with calmness and beauty.
9:00 AM: Breakfast
Time to enjoy some good breakfast dishes along with popular Indian beverages.
11:00 AM: Itmad-Ud-Daulah
The next destination after the breakfast is the 'Baby Taj' apparently known as the draft of the Taj Mahal. Itmad-Ud-Daulah depicts the typical Islamic architecture and is centred in between large green gardens. It is the first Mughal tomb having the Pietra Dura artwork.
2:00 PM Lunch
Enjoy your Lunch in Agra and cherish your moments of Agra trip.
4:30 PM: Departure from Agra
Post your lunch and a break for a while; you'll be driven back to Delhi and will be dropped at your suggested location.
